<![CDATA[AbstractThe purpose of this research is to find out the implementation of the innovationof modern Islamic education system based on the progressive boarding schoolin Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri 1 Bima which is able to produce a newapproach that can accommodate all the development of spiritual, emotional,intellectual and social students. Innovation of modern Islamic educationsystem based on boarding school become an alternative strategy of PAI learningwhich able to give hope in teaching moral value for learners. This research is aqualitative descriptive, using sociological phenomenology approach.The resultof this research shows that the innovation of the Islamic education system inthe Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri 1 Bima comes from a fundamental thoughtand contains a meaningful reconstruction of the nation for the realization ofthe ideals of the developed, equitable, prosperous, dignified, and sovereignstate parallel to other nations and countries that have achieved excellenceprogressing in the spirit, mindset, behavior and always future oriented torealize better conditions as a result of an innovation. Keywords: Innovation in Education, Islamic Education, Boarding School]]>

<![CDATA[AbstractThis reseach aimed to determine the pattern of development of islamiceducation. The method used in this reseach was qualitative. The results ofthis research, the period before Indonesiaâs independence there are differentpatterns of development of Islamic education, namely: (1) isolatif-traditional,in the sense of not willing to accept anything that smells Western (colonial)and the inhibition effect of modern thinking in Islam to enter into it, as wasevident at the boarding school education featuring only traditional religioussciences of Islam and common knowledge is not at all given. The essenceof Islamic education is an effort to conserve and maintain the treasures ofearlier scholars thought as expressed in their books. The main purpose ofeducation is to prepare prospective chaplain or clergy only controlled religiousissues alone. (2)Synthesis, which brings the livery (Islamic boarding school)and the new style (colonial or Western education model) tangible schools orMadrasah. In reality, patterns of thought this synthesis contain some variationof the pattern of development of Islamic education. (3) Various models andpatterns of development of Islamic education are essentially intends to developteachings and fundamental values contained in the Quran and al-Sunnah.Itâs just that they have a different perspective to understand and describethe nature of Islamic education and science. <![CDATA[AbstractThis study aims to reveal the Professionalism of Islamic Religious Educationteacher in State Senior High School 17 Surabaya in improving the studentsâlearning quality. As well as improving the studentsâ learning quality in StateSenior High School 17 Surabaya. The method used in this research is analyticaldescriptive research that is a research that aims to give a picture of reality onobject that is studied objectively. The source of the research data obtained fromobservation, interview, questionnaire and documentation. This research tookplace from December 15, 2017 to February 15, 2018. Research proved that theprofessionalism of Islamic Religious Education teacher in State Senior HighSchool 17 Surabaya is good enough. Professional teachers are teachers whocan be mature, able to control themselves, not easily carried away emotions.Be objective, teachers who have academic qualifications in accordance withtheir field of Bachelor of Islamic Religious Education, have four competencies(pedagogic competence, knowledge, personality and social competence). <![CDATA[AbstractThis study aims to describe and analyze the existing religious messages in a 29Juz Harga Wanita novel, which is about the value of Islamic Education in Novelby Maâmun Affany. The method used in this study is interpretive research, i.e.research that performs analysis to get the meaning of a phenomenon and aimsto gain a deep understanding, especially the value of Islamic education and itsrelevance in novel 29 Juz Harga Wanita by Maâmun Affany. This study focuseson literature review, which is utilizing the source library to obtain research datawithout doing field research. Make the novel as an educational medium bytaking lessons from the messages contained therein. The data are grouped intothree kinds, namely (1) the data of the faith value in the 29 Juz Harga Wanitanovel which includes (a) faith in God; (b) faith in the books of God; (c) faithin qada and qadar, (2) data of religious devotion values in 29 Juz Harga Wanitanovel that includes (a) Istiqomah (sticking to religion) (b) Ikhtiar (try and pray);(c) obey the prayer; (d) tawaadlu (humble/not arrogant); (e) qonaâah (willingand sufficient for all that is owned); and 3) data of noble values in 29 Juz HargaWanita novel which includes: (a) nobility to Allah, (b) noble character to manthat is to self, family, neighbor, society; and (c) nobility to the environment.As rahmatan lil Alamin, Islam placed women in a glorious place. Islam is areligion that respects and appreciates women and men to God in absoluteterms. There is relevance between the values of Islamic Religious Educationin 29 Juz Harga Wanita novel, with the goal of Islamic religious education thatis to invite humans to do good and avoid bad nature in accordance with thenorms that have been established by Islam. <![CDATA[AbstractThis study aims to find out and explore how does the headmaster implementit? what is the obstacle facing him? what strategy is done? This research usesfour approaches that are pedagogies, sociological, juridical and psychological.The sources of the data are primary and secondary. The instruments areinterviews, observation guides, check list observation, and documentation.The research techniques are data reduction techniques, data presentation, andconclusions. From the results of the research of school-based management inSMP Muhammadiyah 4 Gempol, it can be concluded: The headmaster hasimplemented school-based management but the implementation has not fullyimplement school-based management. The headmaster as a leader using SchoolBased Management still needs improvement and improvement of teacherquality and good cooperation with school partners. Constraints faced a) Lackof educational facilities and infrastructure b) lack of teacher competency c)lack of parental support of learning process, d) lack of intensive and maximalsocialization, e) lack of master of technology. Strategies undertaken inimplementing school-based management ie a) doing relationship with relevantagencies to provide the facilities and the infrastructure b) improving teachercompetence by involving teachers in trainings c) doing relationship withparents to improve the quality of education. The implications of this researchis expected for the headmasters and teachers to always perform their dutiesand functions respectively each other. To the teachers of SMP Muhammadiyah4 Gempol, to always strive to improve the professionalism of work for thequality of school education in particular and in general can be better. <![CDATA[AbstractThis study aimed to identify: (1) the validity of the developed contextuallearning based textbook (2) practicality of the developed contextual learningbased textbook (3) effectiveness of the developed contextual learning basedtextbook to improve studentsâ critical and creative thinking ability. This studyused developement research design by adopting ADDIE model (Analysis,Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). This study consistedof three stages: introduction, developement, and test of effetiveness. Thevalidity result of textbook from 36 expertâs assessment items showed that 22items were very suitable and 14 items were suitable. The textbook practicalitywas seen from checklist points achievement for contextual learning basedtextbook. The result of gain score analysis of students âcritical thinking abilitywas 0.769 or categorized as high, meaning that the use of contextual learningbased textbook was effective to improve studentsâ critical thinking ability. Theresult of gain score analysis of students âcreative thinking ability was 0.775 orcategorized as high, meaning that the use of contextual learning based textbookwas effective to improve studentsâ creative thinking ability]]>

<![CDATA[AbstractThe senior high school of Muhammadiyah 4 Surabaya is a school continuallyexperienced various developments including in an effort to improve theperformance of the teachers. SMA Muhammadiyah 4 Surabaya is a religion-based school in Karangpilang which experiences increasing number ofstudents and community interest from year to year. It cannot be separatedfrom the strategy and active role of the principal. This study aims to find outand explore what is the leadership strategy of school principals in improvingteachersâ performance in SMA Muhammadiyah 4 Surabaya? And what are thesupporting factors and obstacles of school principals in improving teachersâperformance in SMA Muhammadiyah 4 Surabaya? This is a qualitative researchwith descriptive approach. The process of data collection is done by usingobservation, interview and documentation. Data are collected and analyzedthrough several stages including data collection, reduction, and presentationthen drawing conclusions in accordance with the scope of the problem. Asthe findings of this study, it can be concluded that: First, Principal LeadershipStrategy in improving teacher performance in SMA Muhammadiyah 4Surabaya consists of 9 strategies. Second, the supporting factors in this schoolenvironment consist of 3 factors and the inhibiting factors consist of 2 factors.The supporting factors are teacher education level, conducive climate, andmental condition of the teachers. The inhibiting factors are caused by internaland external factors. <![CDATA[AbstractThis study aims to know about the competence of teachers, and what theconcept of the Qurâan about the competence of teachers in Surat Al-QalamVerses 1 - 4. This research is a library review (library research) which isqualitative descriptive, using documentation techniques in data collection.While the method of data analysis used is the tafsir maudluâiy method. Theresults show that: Firstly, the qualities that an educator must have are (a)zuhud not putting matter and teaching because of seeking Godâs mercy; (b) tocleanse his body, away from sin and guilt, to escape from great sin, ridicity, envy,hostility, strife and other disgraceful nature; (c) Ikhlas in the work; (d) forgiving;(e) loving his disciples just as he loved his own son; (f) knowing the studentâsnature; (g) mastering subjects; (h) have competence in the ways of teaching.Second, the competence that must be owned by the teacher according to theQurâan letter Al-Qalam verses 1-4 is to have the personality as exemplified bythe Prophet Muhammad SAW, master and utilize information technology andcommunications for self-development and science and have the ability paperfor the development of science and communication media with others. Keywords: Competence of teachers, Concepts of the Qurâan, Tafseer of al-Alaq]]>

<![CDATA[AbstractCurrently, education management in Indonesia recognizes two mechanisms,namely centralization and decentralization system, in the centralized systemof education administration regulated by the central government. This studyaims to find out how the implementation of School Based Management(SBM) in KHM NUR Junior High School Surabaya, knowing what programsare implemented in KHM NUR Junior high School Surabaya and aims todetermine what factors that support and hinder the implementation of SchoolBased Management (SBM) in an effort to improve the quality of education atKHM NUR Junior High School Surabaya. The type of research used in thisstudy is Field Research, which is studying intensively about the background ofthe present state, in the interaction of a social, individual, group, institution,and society. Technique of data analysis used qualitative descriptive. Thefindings of this study can be concluded; first: Implementation of School BasedManagement (SBM) at KHM. <![CDATA[AbstractThis research aims to reveal the thoughts possessed by the kyais and ustadzin Pesantren al-Mukmin on the tauhîd education, and their implementation.The method used in this reseach was qualitative. The results of this researchare as follows. Firstly, tauhîd is given a special attention since the main aimof education in the pesantren al-Mukmin Ngruki is to produce a muslimgeneration with pure tauhîd coloring all their lives. KH. Wahyudin and ustadzAbdurrahim Baâasyir Lc understand tauhîd in line with Ibnu Taimiyah andMuhammad bin Abdul Wahab. Secondly, Tauhîd education in Pesantren al-Mukmin Ngruki using three methods of education; the doctrine of tauhîdvalues, understanding, and practice. Meanwhile the learning of tauhîd in thePesantren al-Mukmin Ngruki more adopted the concept of tauhîd proposedby Muhammad bin Abdul Wahab and Ibn Taimiyah since the books studiedin the halaqah program are written by Muhammad bin Abdul Wahab, whilethose studied in the learning of tauhîd in the class are written by Dr. ShalihFauzan who is one of the figures in the Muhammad bin Abdul Wahab tauhîddakwah movement in Saudi Arabia. Keywords: Tauhîd, Education, Pesantren]]>
